Psychadelic-Surf-Groves
In a time of made up genres and increasingly entwined music, Marcoca is not even trying to put themselves into a specific category. Generally the consist of five individual musicians with various tastes and backgrounds, that enjoy their differences and don´t worry too much about the outcome. The result is a reverb soaked ride through tight grooves, expressive solos and danceable moods to get lost in.
Based in Augsburg (GER) the band is crafting sounds influenced by Surf Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, Funk and organic house grooves. Global attention on streaming platforms, touring the coastal region of France, supporting „Los Bitchos“ and various festival gigs in Germany, enabled them to acquire a solid reputation in the psychedelic groove scene. They are currently under contract with the French label „Nice Guys“ from Bordeaux.

AYLIN’S SOULGARDEN
Aylin’s Soulgarden verbinden anatolische Musiktraditionen mit zeitgenössischen Elementen aus IndiePop, Jazz und Psychedelia. Ihr Debütalbum „Bu bir demdir“ erschien im Oktober 2024 bei CPL-Music unter internationaler Beachtung (u.a. Radio AirPlay von Denver bis Melbourne, von Istanbul bis zur BBC London). Aylin’s Soulgarden interpretiert die tiefgründigen Verse traditioneller alevitischer Dichter wie Muhyiddin Abdal und Pir Sultan durch eine moderne Linse – eingebettet in einen lebendigen, berauschenden Sound aus Indie-Psychedelic-Pop und einem Hauch Soul. Im Zentrum stehen die charakteristische Stimme von Aylin Yildirim, das virtuose Spiel von Eren Yildirim an der Saz, während Produzent, Gitarrist und Bassist Girisha Fernando dem Songwriting facettenreiche Harmoniebögen und Rhythmen verleiht und Paul Etschberger, Pop-Feeling und funkelnde Synth-Melodien in das musikalische Gesamtbild einbringt. Live werden sie unterstützt von Lucy Pereira (Backing Vocals) und Kilian Bühler (Drums).
